So the price isn't one figure for everyone; it depends on the number of steps your teeth need to reach their final position. At Dr. Banan Alhawamdeh's clinic each step costs 100 to 120 JOD, and the number of steps is set after the examination and treatment planning.
What is a "step"?
A step is one stage of treatment, with new aligners that you wear for a set period before moving on to the next. Simple cases, such as small gaps or mild crowding, need fewer steps; cases needing more tooth movement need more.

What determines the number of steps?
- How much crowding or spacing there is.
- The type of movement: simple tipping, or rotation and root movement.
- Whether treatment is for the upper jaw only or both.
- Bite problems such as a deep bite or open bite.
- How consistently you wear the aligners 20โ22 hours a day; poor wear can require extra steps.
Clear aligners or fixed braces: cost
Fixed braces at our clinic cost 800 to 1,500 JOD depending on the case. In simple cases clear aligners can cost about the same as fixed braces or less; in cases needing many steps, fixed braces may be better value.
